Report Back on Gaza Freedom March, by Jessica Campbell, Friday, February 5th, at 7pm, in Corvallis
1,400 activists from 42 countries gathered in Cairo on December 28, determined to walk alongside Palestinians in the Gaza Freedom March. In a divisive move on the behalf of the Egyptian government, only 87 activists actually made it to Gaza. OSU junior Jessica Campbell was one of the 87.
Join us on Friday, February 5th, at 7pm, to hear Jessica's accounts of the repression in Cairo, the role the United States played in dismantling the Gaza Freedom March, and the whirlwind 48 hours she spent in Gaza distributing aid alongside Palestinians.
Jessica's talk will be at the Corvallis Multicultural Literacy Center, 128 SW 9th St, Corvallis. This event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Palestine Action Group and Corvallis-Albany Friends of Middle East Peace.
